Information Class Schedule Class Descriptions Our Teachers

Cooks' Collegium
September 20, 2008
Teufelburg (Danville, CA)

All are cordially invited to attend the cooks of the West as we offer a day of historical culinary art studies for those with any interest in historical food. There will be everything from hands on cooking over fire, feast planning and preparation, to research presentations and round table discussions. Five tracks are being offered covering all levels of skill. A period lunch will be offered for a small donation. We are currently recruiting additional teachers and taking requests for classes. This is your chance to take that class that you've always wanted, or share your knowledge and passion with others. Due to the success of our fund raising efforts, there will be no site fee for this event...only class fees paid directly to instructors.

The cooks library will be a part of this event. If you have books you'd like to let people see, you can leave them at the library during the day. If you've been wanting to look at a particular text, drop by the library and see if it's available. You can only look at the books in the library area, you can't take them anywhere else on the site.

Lunch
Juana's class on Olla Podrida will be providing the soup and meats for our lunch. She'll be teaching this class during the first period. There might be a nominal charge. Please RSVP to Cilean at Dracolore.com so we know how much food to buy.
