Site opens at 3 pm on Friday and closes at noon on Sunday.

Friday 3-Midnight

There will be a short 3-song history/demonstration of the evolution of some select SCA ballads extolling the virtues of specific SCA locations and how some of these ballads have inspired the creation of others.
Following this portion, the event can continue along the "Play/Pick/Pass" format of a classic Bardic Circle where performances proceed in order clockwise around the circle and everyone has a chance to either: (1) perform a song, (2) request a specific song to be performed by whomever might know it - or to hear a song from a specific person present, or (3) pass to the next person in the circle.

After final court, please stay for a dance performance.  It will include dance in the styles of Berber, Moroccan, Tunisian and "storytelling," and accompanied by live drummers and recorded music.  The dancers will be Sakina Kaira and Haneem Kaira (accopamanied by Seamus of Rivenoak), Jaida al-Badawiya, Jnina al Qahwajiya, Jasmyn Mabalatan and Amy Whiteley.

*No alcohol which was not purchased at the hotel may be brought into the public rooms. There is a bar in the Lobby and in the restaurant. For your convenience, an extra bar will be set up from 6pm-midnight near the feast hall.
Please clean up your feast area when you are done.
